Try SolveX Agent on supported coursework with a free welcome balance. No card, purchase or paid Helper plan is required. Here is how to activate it and make the most of your 15 days.
SolveX Team · Updated October 29, 2026
Activate 200 free Agent credits, usable for 15 days after activation. One welcome balance per eligible verified SolveX account. No card or paid Helper plan required.
This is a finite balance for trying the SolveX Agent Chrome extension. It is separate from the McGraw Hill Helper trial and any paid Agent passes. The welcome balance does not automatically renew, buy a pass or change your existing subscription.
Use the same SolveX account on the website and in the extension. Installing Agent does not activate credits, and signing in to the website does not by itself connect the extension.
Sign in to SolveX, or create an account if you are new. Verify your email when requested. You do not need a paid Helper plan to be eligible for the free Agent welcome balance.
For a new eligible account, the activation button adds the welcome balance and starts its 15-day clock. If credits were already added to your existing account, read the balance and exact deadline shown there instead. There is one welcome balance per account.
Install SolveX Agent from the Chrome Web Store. Open its panel, choose Connect account and finish connecting to the same SolveX account. Wait for the connected confirmation.
Keep the instructions and required source material readable. Agent can prepare supported answers and written responses. Review the result yourself, and use Stop if the workflow needs attention.
Credits cover Agent requests, not a fixed number of questions. Longer context and images can use more credits. No automatic renewal.
A single question can require more than one Agent request, such as reading context, preparing an answer and checking the next page. A longer written task or an image can therefore use more of the balance than a short text interaction. Audio transcription has its own credit cost, shown in your Agent account.
Use the interactive demo to explore the panel before running real work. Demo actions are simulated and do not use your school account. For a real run, begin with a short supported activity and watch the remaining allowance in your Agent account.
For a new activation, the welcome credits expire 15 days after you activate them. This is your personal usage window, not a countdown to the end of the public offer. Unused welcome credits expire at that deadline, even if you have not used all 200.
Already received your welcome credits? Check your Agent account for the remaining balance and actual deadline. Signing in again does not restart the clock.
A paid Agent pass keeps its own allowance and expiry. The separate welcome-credit deadline in your Agent account tells you when the free balance ends; a later paid-pass expiry does not extend it.
Agent can help with supported browser activities, including question fields, matching, available images, linked readings and written-response drafts. Keep the prompt and required material accessible so Agent can use the relevant context.
Compatibility is in beta and varies by school, page and activity. A platform name on the website does not mean every workflow is supported. Answers and browser actions can be wrong. Review your work and use assistance where your course permits it.
McGraw Hill Helper continues to work as its own extension. Your Helper plan and pricing stay the same, and using Agent does not move or cancel that access.
Your Agent account shows whether your welcome credits are active, used up or expired. If you want to keep using Agent, you can choose an available one-time Day or Weekly Pass. Purchasing a pass is optional; the welcome balance never turns into an automatic charge.
If activation is unavailable, verify the account email and refresh access. Eligibility and remaining campaign capacity are checked by the server. Do not create another account to restart a used or expired welcome balance.
