Frequently asked questions

Is it free to try?

Yes — new accounts get 60 minutes and 100 solves for supported Connect and SmartBook features, no card required. Snap Solver requires an active paid plan or Day Pass.

Does it work with McGraw-Hill Connect and SmartBook?

That's exactly what it's built for. SolveX auto-detects and answers questions in Connect and SmartBook — multiple choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blank, multi-select, matching, drag & drop, and image or diagram questions.

What is Snap Solver?

A hotkey that lets you select a complete question on a compatible website or browser PDF and review an AI response. It can read many images and diagrams, but results depend on the capture, page restrictions, and available context. It is off by default; turn it on in Settings.

What does Turbo mode do?

Turbo uses one AI model and shorter waits to move faster. It skips the second-opinion check, so accuracy can be lower; use standard mode when you want more review.

Can I use SolveX on a proctored exam?

No. SolveX is built for homework, practice, and study. Do not use it during proctored or locked assessments or where outside assistance is prohibited.

Is this allowed at my school?

That's between you and your course. Policies on study aids differ by institution and even by instructor, so check your syllabus. SolveX is a study tool: use it to work through homework and check your understanding, and never where your course doesn't allow it.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plans are managed from your dashboard, and Day Pass and Semester options mean you only pay for what you need.
