Each assignment falls into one of a few types: SmartBook adaptive readings, Connect homework (graded practice), quizzes, and proctored exams. Homework usually allows multiple attempts and shows your score immediately; exams typically allow one attempt and may be timed.
The single biggest mistake students make is leaving everything to the deadline. Connect timestamps every submission, and late work is often auto-penalized. Work in short sessions across the week, use the practice attempts, and check the gradebook to confirm each submission registered.
